Arnold Kelly
Born and raised in Maroon Town, St. James, Arnold has loved radio since his High School years at Cornwall College but that seemed to be “the impossible dream” for a little country boy.
He however persevered and made his dream a reality. He started his radio career in 1986 at JBC Radio West as host of “What’s Right with Teenagers”. His first full-time job was as technical operator while doubling as a presenter in a number of features, then as host of Sunday morning show and the weekday morning show.
In 1994 he moved to Kingston to the National Religious Media Commission where he served for 12 years, starting out as producer/presenter and moving up to Production Manager before joining the NCU team in 2006.
Recipient of the President’s Award at the 2009 Caribbean Gospel Music “Marlin” Awards, today Arnold serves as the General Manager for the NCU Media Group. He continues to share his passion and love for radio through dynamic, informative and spiritual programming.
